THURSDAY, APRIL 09, 2009 - CAN NOT STAND THE ECHO!!

THAT NICE (TRUTHFULLY, ONERY OLD COOT) MAILMAN CAME UP TO DOOR AGAIN TODAY!!

AND, I GOT THE NEW "JACK IN THE PATCH" BY CHERRY WOOD DESIGN STUDIOS!! THIS IS TRULY A DANDY, WITH 30 DIFFERENT SQUARES, EACH STITCHED IN A DIFFERENT STITCH IN ADDITION TO SURROUNDING BORDER. IT IS CHARTED FOR BOTH A "BOX" AND A "FOB"!! UMMMMMMM!! MAYBE, ONE BLOCK PER MONTH, WITH SEVERAL "FROG" INVASIONS EXTENDING IT!! HOPE THEY ARE STILL CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN!! AND THIS IS ANOTHER DESIGNER WHO LIVES IN IOWA!!
THIS IS "SPRING DESIGN" BY BOBBIE G. DESIGNS!! GOT TO START HEARING ABOUT THESE CHARTS BEFORE I JUST "JUMP OVER THE EDGE"!! THERE ARE 46 DMC COLORS WITH 6 DIFFERENT BLENDED THREADS, MORE BACKSTITCHING THAN I HAVE SEEN IN QUITE AWHILE, MANY HALF STITCHES, AND SEVERAL FRENCH KNOTS MANY OF WHICH IT WILL BE LAST MINUTE DECISION IF I CAN USE BEADS OR NOT FOR THEM!!
AND, I GOT "MAKE-UP!" BY THE SUNFLOWER SEED!! I TRULY CAN RELATE TO THIS ONE AND SO BADLY WOULD LIKE TO GET IT STITCHED UP AND HUNG IN MY BATHROOM TO REMIND ME TO DECIDE IF I "REALLY" WANT THAT EVEN SIMPLE BLUSH AND MASCARA!! APPEARS TO BE EASY 7 GENTLE ARTS SAMPLER THREADS AND 3 PLAIN DMC THREADS!! AND, for the entire rest of this day, I pretty much sat in my chair!! I think I have had a total of two hours sleep Tuesday and last night!! Into my mind just not shutting off to even let me rest since "our" encounter with our Veterans Administration!! But, there is absolutely nothing I can do about those matters and they need to quiet their selves very soon!!
In the silence of my just sitting, my (or, I should say Kathy's from Ca.) Victorian Doll's House has finally won a very short and slow start!! That is as soon as I can stay awake to make sure I am placing it most correctly on the fabric!! Going to put in on plain white 28-Count Cashel Linen!! Got very large piece, just for "safety in errors"!! Kathy was kind enough to give me a few tips regarding how her piece is progressing!! And, some thing I am sure I would never considered, in she advised me to buy lots of the brown color threads!!
I am allowing things to get very uncontrollable right now!! I am to the point of having gotten out my timer and will be rotating a few times each day and evening. Off hand, I can say that I am absolutely going to continue my "Stitcher Traveling" Set, continue onward with my BIG secret project, about six Biscornus, and what ever else I manage to pick up in the ever growing WIPS pile!! I swear that pile is taking on a "life" of it's own!! And, now the Victorian Doll's House is in the process of getting a "building permit"!!
Mi is still very scared of the new deck and ramp!! She wants no part of stepping out on it, nor is she going to cross it yet!! Mi can not walk on tile of any kind as she has never really been around any thing, but carpet. I wonder if she thinks this wood is going to be like her encounter with tile once!! We will continue to try and "bribe" her to come outside with us!!
Max is having very severe problems with his blood pressure dropping WAY too low for extended time periods, especially after dialysis!! I am very much praying we are not about to encounter a dejavue with it!! He is also eating about 2 bites of each meal, and some times a whole 5-6 bites if I begin to hassle and joke with him about it!! He has constant diarrhea!!
Nothing seems to help!! I try to suggest another bottle of "Ensure" each time I cross paths with him here. He is beginning to loose the weight again!! I worked so hard to get some weight back on him beginning about three months ago and was quite successful as he was only a 96-pound human skeleton then!! I truly do not want to see any more lost weight as he desperately needs every ounce he can keep!! I had a long chat with Beth H. about a month ago and she advised me to get him into a Gastroenterology Specialist as this is not the normal side effects from dialysis!!
And, as for the my "old fart" choppers!! I can not get them to "chop"!! I can put them in and take them out with great ease. I can't say they even bother me all that much as I can almost forget they are even in place, except I can not eat with them whatsoever!! And, Max thought he was hungry for steaks on the grill tonight!! He came home all excited this morning, that these steaks really looked good to him at the store and since we had a lovely, and only slightly cool, day today he would grill them outside!! All I could think was "oh, goodie"!! Mi ate really well tonight!! You know these darn things did not come with one word of instructions!! I do not normally like to read instructions, but I truly think I would have read and re-read these, until I finally "got it"!! Do not think I ever seen an "Oprah" or "Dr. Phil" show where the topic was "how to eat with dentures!! But, I have a whole new day to begin over tomorrow with possibly "oatmeal" for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!
I think I am going to have to use my "Amid Amish" for dust cloths!! But, this evening is just another time for a chance, or another chance, to have the lucky "Milkbone" grabbed!!
Love and Hugs!!
Deborah

Looks like you some more great things to work on. The doll house is a pretty big project....maybe you should sneak in something smaller. You need to get used to your teeth before having to eat steak! Slowly eat some things that need *some* chewing, but not much and then work your way up. You are biting off more than you can chew.....sorry for the pun! Hope that Max can eat more and put some weight back on, that's not good for his overall health!
Do not worry about what you can not control (VA)!!!!!!

That’s some great stash you received, Deborah. I know you’ve got a lot of stitching you want to get done! If you’d like, I’d be happy to stitch the make up one for you. Just let me know.
