SUNDAY, MAY 25, 2008 - BIRTHDAY WEEK

THIS IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT TO MAKE A NEEDLEROLL AND FIRST ATTEMPT TO STITCH ON 28-COUNT CASHEL LINEN.
I am finding this a very slow learning process, but it is well worth the trouble!!

Today, was a terribly hot and humid day, with plenty of thunder and lighting storms!! I still was in a very good mood!! Got the "pig roast" out of the way yesterday, so I can safely say I have completed this year's "wifely duties", unless some unforeseen wedding or funeral comes up!!

I still have my sights set more than ever, to get this home spring and fall cleaned with major downsizing!! I am going to get a hold of things yet here, and sail into the new year for once with all the old problems and things left to trouble me!!

I am so used to just staying in my Stitching Room that I could practically live in it!! I just love my stitching and trying all the new things that just waiting for me!! This is still going to be a great year!!

But, presently, this officially begins by birthday week!! I am thrilled to death. Never have I had such a pile of gifts sitting here waiting for me!! Kathy had an excellent suggestion for me today.
She told me to have Max take a picture of each and every gift so I have a record of it instantly so I leave no room for confusion!!

I promise some of the things such as Assisted Living and Stitching Room to be on here any day now!!

Love & Hugs,
Deborah, Max and Miprezious

Linen takes a little getting used to but it will come and then you will speed up too. Well done, it is coming on well. Sounds like you have an excellent week to look forward to. Enjoy your birthday.
